Yeah tbh it was bit if a waste of time, the TPN would of been enough.

It must be hard because I think no matter what you love doing when it spills into your work after some times I'm sure it can become hard to enjoy as much as you will when it's a complete separate thing.... I hope that reads right :/ I'm pretty crap at illustrating what's in my head haha. Enjoy!!!

1. I'm using about 20 litres of TMC NutraSoil but its been used so may be lacking in nutrients. When wetting, should I use water loaded with nutrients? How about adding 100ml or so of TPN+ added to the water I'm soaking the substrate with? I would of just soaked the substrate in a bucket before...

Good start. When I've had success with this in the past I had NO standing water, just wet the substrate before planting them misted the tank once a day with a water and TPN+ mixture.

im interested in those wabi balls tgm are selling, but i think aslong as you get a good bit of moss tied around some diy wabi balls theyll hold up fine.

this is pretty good idea, but once the hc gets thick wont the light be blocked and then the moss will die 'floating log' :shifty: haha how comes it still floats ? hows the swamp going? and that little better nano tank?

This is gunna look real good once that hc has carpeted, do you need to cover the top to get it nice and humid?? Do you have to mist it? I've not looked into emersed growing to much. Lol Nice rock dude :thumbup:

I like this a lot luis. Very cool. I've got a small cube I'm using as storage for plants for a bigger tank. When its free ill defonatly have to set some kind of emmersed thing up. Thanks for the inpiration, Ryan
