Hi welcome aboard :)
Very nice scape you've put together.
+1 for the stumps too.
Thread needs to be moved to the journals area though. PM a mod and ask it to be moved mate, your get much better response that way.
Wow! They look amazing. Is it your photography skills or editing that makes them look so waxy and lush? Or are they actually that horrifically damn healthy!!!
this is no way 'low tech' sorry but aquatic soil, ferts and liquid co2 aswell as filtration and decent lighting is not lo tech
id expect your average lo tech to be either top soil topped with gravel minimal filtration with minimal water changes no additional ferts and no liquid co2, thats not to...
That's really smart mate, what bps are you using on the co2? I have a little dennerle cube and wantedto set it up but don't want to go over kill on co2, would 1 bubble every 6 seconds be right left on 24-7
Shame they didn't make the ligting just that little bit better.
Re: 30cm nano (16 liter)
Glen that's a stunning little tank mate!
Really healthy and so many leaf textures and shades in such a small tank and it all goes so well.
All with just a NPKmix and iron? I have the aquarebel ferts, but couldn't get my head around dosing, so was doing. 2 pumps of...
What a difference,it's always good to see and before shot :)
Where did you get the light what's it rated at watts wise, also sorry to keep asking questions any chance of a write up or just some more details the co2 system?
Cheers
Beautiful tank! Have you got any shot of it growing in? also any shot of the whole tank, including light, I'm not familiar with the fluval tank :/
How often was you refilling the co2? The paintball gun idea is cool, but I couldn't find any uk based sellers on ebay selling the cannister holders...
Re: Seven years of 'scaping - updated May '10
Thanks George, you wouldn't know which issue this was would you? I may ask around to see if anyone has it. I really want to set up a black water tank with apistogramma and some kind of tetra.
Also in the 2nd from last picture, you and Garuf at a...

Anymore pictures would be appreciated especially nanos :) . We need to organize a ukaps trip to one of these events. (Coming from someone that hasn't managed to attend his local LFKC meets haha).
