    Shops near Southampton

http://www.aquajardin.co.uk/southampton/ https://the-nature-collective.co.uk/ I think Aquajardin (Southampton at least) was bought out and is now called Nature Collective. Definitely one of the best shops in Southampton area, all my fish have come from there, as just round the corner to me. Not...

Fire extinguisher CO2 refills in the Leatherhead, Surrey area?

Ouch. My last 2Kg FE lasted 130days or 4 months or about 12 weeks odd on my 180litre tank with green/yellow drop checker. How are you injecting CO2, you appear to be using more than twice the amount I am using.!!!!

Reputable Co2 off the shelf kit.

24W over 155litre is 24W over 40US gallons, is about 0.5W per gallon, which is definitely low light, you will struggle to get carpets and any pearling at that level. What is your filter turn over, high tech you will be looking at least 1500litre/hour. The whole Fluval system is a well designed...

    Jbl 1501e

No idea. Not cleaned the hoses in the three and half years I have had it. Its on my "to do sometime" list. The hoses are "dirty", but not enough to block the flow. My filter gets opened every couple of weeks to retrieve fish fry. Once a month I rinse the coarse inlet sponges, usually containing...

    Jbl 1501e

You know wrong then. This is a JBL1501e after a couple of month use with all trays filled. Flow is absolutely fine, in fact had to position rocks/pebbles at front of tank to stop substrate being washed away.

    Where to buy CO2 Oxfordshire

Also try "pub gas suppliers" in yellow pages. Generally though smallest cylinder is 6.3Kg. Be careful some pub gas is actually 30-60% CO2 with rest nitrogen, cheaper but not for fish tanks. Sometimes Ebay has 2Kg FE's for £20 odd. See if any of the FE suppliers will sell you old "past their...

    Where to buy CO2 Oxfordshire

At your work, library, post office, shops take a note of the phone numbers on the extinguishers and phone the numbers. That's what I did and get 2kg FE's delivered for £10 ago.

    Electronic timers, heads up B&Q

Be careful I had 4 off these off which 3 have failed over the last couple of years. one just stopped, no display nothing. Luckily on my tank light so easily noticed and replaced. Other two now forget after a power cut. Originally lasted ages with no mains power, but eventually kept finding...
