Hi i just got one given to me
If it looses power will it have to be set up again ?
Plus to set it i have to physically turn it on at the time i want it to come on ?
Would a smart plug be a better option as that remembers settings if power is lost
Running pressurised Co2 on a timer so im...
It's such a wasteful process and the whole industry is based on death, otherwise there would be no need to keep importing fish

Came across this by a connection on LinkedIn
Doesn't say much but what do you think of it's potential over an aquarium ?

I've seen how boxes of fish are handled and I'm still amazed that there are few DOA's
Let me know if you work out how to ship them in one piece

I've watched a few videos on YouTube where they build some great lights but it's beyond me at moment, as my knowledgable of electronics is limited
I guess it's like anything the more you spend the better the product will be and the more control you will have over it
So starting with a cheap...
Thanks for your concern
Lighting is not required to have a plug fitted unless it's a portable item i.e. Table lamp
They are to be wired directly by a competent person

Hi all thought you I'd let you know that a very cheap light is available on the high street
I've bought 2 but no plans for them yet [emoji23]
Cheaper than eBay plus they are white not silver
A loyalty/business card for scale

Hi
Been trawling through web looking at lights as you do [emoji23]
Came across these from a company I've used before
What'd I you think of them ?

Hi my friend has just bought a 5.2.2 tank on oak cabinet from Maidenhead (spoilt git)
He wants to go high tech
What led lighting would you recommend ?
Regards
Dean
I've just ordered two from you link [emoji106][emoji106]
Just downloading the banggood app then I'll search for power supply
Thank you very much for the help and info
Is there a diy section to add builds and experiments
Regards
Dean
Seller says that they can't be dimmed
But video clearly shows they can
I may try some just for the fun
I use metal racking that has all metal shelves so just stick them to underside and job should be a good one
Any suggestions for cheap but not explosive power supply [emoji23]

Dean
Could you drill the heat sink and put cables through ?
That way they be further from the water ?
Cover joints with silicone on the face to waterproof them ?
I've never made one but would like to try

Looking to make a frame to support an LED garden spot light over my trigon 350
Have you made one or seen one anywhere ?
Please show me or post links

Tripod (tripe)
Don't leave it in automatic mode otherwise you will never learn how to use it
Have a play with the WB White Balance it can make or break your photos

I guess the problem is the law in countries like China etc
How is a small business owner going to be able to prosecute a large factory for IP theft
It's just not going to be practical.
We all like bargains and the Internet has opened opened up many markets for buyers which in general could be...
It's is frustrating that we can buy stuff for £1 and it comes all the way from China yet we can't even send something small to the next town for the same price
It's no wonder we buy everything possible from them

Yes it's a "shonky" connection and the ground or earth wire is not connected
It's just slack workers the earth wire has the the attachment all that had to be done was to put it under one of the body screws
I have no idea why there's joins in wires that are about 3inches long [emoji33]...
I just don't find aquarium lights especially the bar types very visually appealing
Plus it's a trigon 350 corner tank so straight bars look odd against the front bowed glass
Hi all
I want your ideas for a different light to go over my tank
I don't want the usual led bars
I want something with more style
Perhaps something that's been adapted
Have any of you seen anything or are using anything yourself ?

Well don't think you will find a cheaper light
Just need to buy a usb plug in any £1 shop and plus it onto a timer
Hi all
my juwel lights gave out for the second time!
so I searched for an alternative and found that these Interpet led lights can be retro fitted to the underside of the existing lights [emoji1]
so I bought two for my trigon 350 corner tank
I didn't like them underneath the existing footings...
I want to remove the built in lids and lighting, but on the tightest budget possible what can you suggest, not got high light plants, it's low tech setup, different kinds of ferns and moss
I went into a hydroponics place today looking for clay balls hydroleca and what an experience that was, totally forgot what I went in for after 2 minutes head was spinning
No. Use any light you want. The plants will figure it out.
OMG now thats confusing I've heard people talk to trees but plants can figure out lighting when it gives me a headache :-)
Ceg can you explain this to a thicko like me or is there an idiot proof simplified thread somewhere?
I don't want to limit myself to low light species
If need be I can build an inline Co2 reactor and all the tanks will receive it via the return pump
I was thinking that if I had metal halide etc then high light plants in the top tank and low light in the bottom ones
Would this work?
Which...
Hi all i have seen the light and want to grow plants in all my tanks along one side of my fishhouse, previously ive had it as a fish only centralised system and the room receive natural daylight from a small south facing window in the end gable and 3x65 watt tubes down the centre aisle...
