I'm switching it for the normal UP atomizer, it's not tight enough around the ceramic tubes and the cap needs resealing otherwise it leaks gas. The small ceramic tube needs a bit higher pressure to work switched it for the larger one. Overall it works OK but not great.

Because water inside the drop checker is not moving surface scum forms there, it will go away when tank matures, keep cleaning it if you want accurate readings (if there's such a thing with drop checkers :lol:)

I used remineralizing salts to rise it to 4dKH, fairly easy to do, dose a bit, shake, test. You can make a larger quantity and share with friends.

I might be mistaken but as far as I know the new JBL test has an already mixed solution, no need to mix it further just fill the tester with it.
