    Liquid co2 testing

A drop checker won't work as there is no gas going into the tank to react with the solution in the drop checker. As for a liquid carbon test kit I have no idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Converting to an FE system

As far as I'm aware, the DD disposable bottle is exactly the same as the Clarke welding gas bottles. Only difference being the DD bottle is more expensive than a Clarke one from Machine Mart. I've used both with my DD reg and they both fit the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Inline glass diffuser

Does anybody have any experience of the following ........ http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/neutro-inline-co2-diffuser-12mm-p-6654.html When I set up my next tank shortly, I'm looking at using mainly glassware and quite fancy using one of the above. I think it would look nice inline stuck to...

Flow around the tank and drop checker

Ok so I have now fitted the other half of the Tetratec spraybar, and repositioned it along the back glass. I also moved the 205 outlet so that that now faces the front glass more, rather than the front right corner of the tank. The flow seems to be much better around the tank, and the drop...

Flow around the tank and drop checker

Ok thanks, so basically me placing my shortened spraybar from the Tetratec along the right hand side of the tank was a bad idea. I'll dig the other half of it out and refit, but this time I'll move it to the back glass so it sprays from back to front to see if that helps. Thanks Adam

Flow around the tank and drop checker

Tank : Juwel Vision 180 Now you'll have to excuse my rather poor little sketch, I've just knocked it up on my iPad. The water is pushed diagonally from left to right across the top of the tank from the Fluval 205, and diagonally down through the tank from right to left from the Tetratec. I...

    DD. CO2 unit

Hi Antipofish, I know this but I was merely pointing out that Fredericks initial thought of 3/4 bpm was quite a way off the mark. Hi Frederick, my system arrived this morning and I have now got it set up. Mine came with a non return valve, so I guess you were just unlucky. As you said...

    DD. CO2 unit

The tank I've ordered this system for is also a Juwel Vision 180. Going by the online instruction manual and using the calculation that they use, you should have a minimum of about 14.2 bubbles per minute, so 14. Obviously you can adjust this to suit your individual needs. My system should...

    DD. CO2 unit

I've just ordered one of these systems this morning. I believe that the diffuser and bubble counter are one and the same with this set up, so the bubbles will be entering the bubble counter, and then entering the ceramic disc ( diffuser ) and exiting that as much smaller bubbles. So it sounds...
