Lovely little tank, the HC is a wonder to behold. That shows real skill, I've really struggled with HC at times. A carpet like that would be the envy of most people :) Sam

Personally, its a real shame you didn't stick to UK native species. Would you put HC in an east Asian biotope? Providing you get the landowners permission you can collect native species from waterbodies. I have been thinking of doing something similar for a while, really should get around to...

I’ve got an underwater housing for my fuji and its brilliant taking pics underwater. Vids of tropical marine fish are quality too. Got one of a pair of clowns in an anemone. Sam

Where did you get the lamp from or at least the bulb? worth remembering that place as a desk lamp light for a nano would be loads cheaper that proper aquarium lighting! No probs on the HM I used it in my nano. Using the tropica 'plus' will mean you're basically doing EI, as it contains N and...

Well if you want dutch try and have clumps of single species, rather than mixing them up. Obviously tall at the back grading to the front. Its a bit OTT but this is the sort of thing. See how they have groups of plants. The right side of you r tank is certainly heading the right way. Sam
