    Co2 troubles

No I haven't, at least not yet. I have managed to get both diffusers running at 60 BPM which is an increase of 20 BPM on each diffuser. So 120 BPM now. I am going to leave it alone now and reassess in a weeks time.

    Co2 troubles

Doesn't the first stage needle valve act as a flow restrictor? I'm thinking if I turned that down, then the pressure to the splitter would be reduced allowing me to adjust those valves to increase the rate?

    Co2 troubles

@lidz87 I have been reading this with some interest. I've just rescaped my 400 litre Eheim Incpiria Aquarium and re-introduced injected CO2. Clive is right 99.9 % of the time based on my previous experience with planted tanks and as a member if UKAPS. However....I am using a Dupla Drop...

    CO2 bottles

I have emailed CO2 Supermarket with my question. I have a feeling there has to be a much simpler solution to that. Fiddling about with the primary needle valve on the solenoid possibly, reducing the pressure on the Splitter needle valves. Not sure my DIY skills are up to the same as yours. But...

    Twin output Co2

I'm using a 2 way CO2 Splitter from CO2 Supermarket to run 2 Diffusers in my tank. Question. Do you control the flow/bubble rate via the valve from the solenoid or from the 2 valves on the Splitter? I've got the valve on the solenoid half open, the 2 valves on the Splitter are open just a tiny...

JBL PROFLORA DIRECT INLINE DIFFUSER VS CO2ART INLINE DIFFUSER

Let us know how you get on with this diffuser. I'm betting after a month it will need soaking in bleach after a month so you will need to buy two of them to keep the CO2 going in.

    CO2 relationship to KH

Did I read that correctly, KH is 24, and PH is 8.2 to 8.4??? Regardless of CO2 that sounds like really hard water, hard enough to keep lake Malawi cichlids or even marine fish. What is driving the PH and the KH so high. If you've got fish in there good luck with them, If I've misread the...

CO2 and Lights When To Start?

Hi Zeus, I notice you have got 2 X diffusers whacking in the CO2 there at a tremendous rate on a 500 litre tank. Have you ever used a CO2 testing kit to measure the amount of CO2 in your water, or are you just relying on the colour of the drop checker? Are they JBL CO2 Diffusers. I've tried...

CO2 and Lights When To Start?

Hi Clive, I was thinking 120 bubbles per minute was maybe too much, ha ha! I based this on articles I remember reading in one of Takashi Amano's books where 60 bubbles per minute seemed to be the norm, and 120 bubbles per minute was the high end of the scale. Filters are 2 x Eheim's one is a...

Hi, as someone who has tried every type of diffuser on the market, (and I mean all of them) from my experience any inline CO2 Diffuser with a ceramic tube quickly becomes clogged up and stops working. Then you have the messing about shutting off the filter, disconnecting all the pipe work to...

What temperature is your tank water at the moment? The thermostat on my Eheim filter is set at 27 degrees at the moment but the reading on the LED display says 30 degrees.
