co2 reactors can go on most filters. i have mine on the outlet, as it makes it easier and doesnt get clogged with all the rubbish going into the filter. a more power filter is going to chop up the bubbles better, but it depends on what you would prefer. having the 1500 with the reactor, or...

still got as good as adding an external of around 1200lph. internals cannot hold much media so the job they do is very limited in comparison. dont bother with the internal, get yourself an Ex1200. Least that way you wont see it in the tank!

yeah, rip the old useless juwel filter box out and get yourself 2 Ex1200's. Its exactly what i did and its the best choice i have made. (well i have sold the tank now) :lol:

i think the problem with buying from abroad is the price of the Euro at the mo, it kinda puts me off. if there are any decent ones in the Uk for around £50 then i would be open to suggestions. Especially as i have a 400L tank! :lol:

just a question, can you use a standard airline valve on each 'line' so you can reduce the amount going to your 60L and have more going to your 350L, something like 1/3 and 2/3rds. Is this possible? i know algarde make them.

you can manually switch it off but that means every morning playing around to get the right amount of co2 to be injected. (BPS)

is it a really small diffuser for your size of tank? if you are pumping a lot of gas through a small surface area then it will 'sing' :D

why would you need an inline valve? - what is it? surely if it has a soleniod, you would have to plug it in to the mian electrisity, but it doesnt show any cables in the picture??? by the time you add on the postage it will be quite a lot of ££££ :?

thats exactly what i do! so easy and after a bit of tampering i have reached the perfect amount of co2 (blue early morning, green about 11am, going yellow by about 5pm) and i just unplug and then re plug it in so it is always at the right level

i would use a ceramic diffuser personally, they are smaller and look 10x better. rhinox are expensive, ebay it nd you can get 2 for about £6 inc postage from HK. they work fine for me. plus you have a spare in case of breakages or i put one into bleach to clean it and use the other one.

hi, i have a 55 imperial Galon tank (62 USG) do i 100% need a rhinox 5000 to distribute the co2? also, i was thinking of a hydor koralia 1, but could i use a powerhead instead? as they are cheaper!
