Where to go for custom build tank

Just like to add i had a 4x2x2 build by ND aquatics about 5 years ago. Really wasnt impressed with the build quality, lead times and the tank was built incorrectly according to the specs i supplied. HOPEFULLY they are alot better now.

Looks like the silicone work is pretty decent though  yeah its just really annoying not being able to 'crack' on with it. The courier company asked me if i wanted to keep the cabinet part, but i just sent the whole lot back as there can be no argument. think you got incredibly lucky Roy...

    Will my journal ever start?!

Hi all, As some of you may be aware i have been planning a return to the planted scene after being away (slightly) with a low tech planted tank for my CRS. Firstly i ordered a lovely optiwhite tank from Seapets only to be fobbed off with delivery dates and customer service. Nothing ever turned...

    find me the thread!

thats awesome mate, i didnt think of putting the filter tubing into a piece of pipe. that would work fine for the inlet, as i can have the tip poking out the bottom to suck everything in, but what are your suggestions for the spraybars? im thinking of leaving a small horizontal gap of 2 inches...

    Challenge!!!!!!!!

    Protecting Tank bottoms from Hardscape?

egg crate is the best thing. its sppreads the weight really well and wont affect yoour substrate level anyway, becuase the extra you will need to cover it, is the stuff you save from the space it takes up in the first place! plus, plants love it as the roots can grip onto it and really take hold. :)

yep you pay for the name. i think you can get just as good results even if you pay 1/2 or even 1/3 of the price. just because a world famous scaper owns the company, doesnt mean the products will work for you.

    is a W/C needed?

yeah, i want to take the best care of my 'pets' and i feel that by doing lots of W/C's i am doing this, it hasnt sunk in that they will be no different if i half the number im doing. i dont mind it every 2 weeks, thats not a problem.
  78. N

  79. N

    is a W/C needed?

hi, i have a 120L tank with 12 boras brigittea and some cherry and amano shrimp, (+ 3 apple snails) i dont feed massivley, it has no co2 and no ferts, so do i need to do a w/c every week? it has a couple anubias barteri as well, i doubt that helps but more info is better than none.
