    Recommended Glassware 16mm

I see, thanks for the info. Its harder than i thought to find a decent set. It might have to be the nano borneo set then!

    Recommended Glassware 16mm

Alternatively, i could buy the nano inlet. thats 14cm long. Does anyone know if the Borneo Wild inflow (not the nano size) can be cut down. It looks like there is a joint in the pipes just above where the holes are drilled. Is it a screw thread of just push fit? If its a push fit, i could...

    Recommended Glassware 16mm

oooh i love the idea of stainless, i was forever breaking the glass ones. The Natural Aquario ones look good and the design is interesting that they go into the cabinet. The inflows of the borneo wild and Aqua Rebell all look too tall for a small tank. being over 30cm high, they will virtually...

    Any geologists among us?

you want hard rock. if you find some similar pieces. wack one bit with a rock. if it 'snaps' then its good. if it crumbles then its not! yep, avoid anything with nasty 'veins', holes etc. you will need to boil the stones to get rid of some of the outer crap. dont worry, i wont report you...

i waggled it for a bit, until the gap at the top was about 1cm, and then just used the knife to pick away at the top blobs of silicone. once you get own of you can just start waggling it again and the other will come off then the bottom ones are easy becasue you have the leaverage. brute force...

Tools required for Internal filter removal

i used some brute force on my old 120L. i used a stanley knife so slit the 2 top blobs of slicone (only slightly) and then gently rocked it back and forth, side to side, and eventually it came away. they have4 blobs of slicone holding them on, around the size of a 2p coin.

    Product Review Nano Heater Review

surely, by putting the hydor heater under the substrate, water flow wont push past it to spread the heat. It would be better in the water coloumn as most people have it IMO. its so small it will hardly detract from the scape.

hi, im in the market for a cheap water pump to aid my W/C's. i currently own an eheim compact 1000 and whilst it was ok on a 240L its not going to cut the mustard on my larger aquarium. i really need something that i can connect tubing to both ends, like the larger eheim models, and something...

  35. N

    sticking extension blocks.

so they are like double sided sticky things? they look good and if they come off clean, gotta be a winner. if they can stick and extensiob block to the wall then sounds excellent. might have to use at least six though!
  36. N

    sticking extension blocks.

but then surely the adhesive would cause the paintowrk to peel off when removed?

    zeolite and purigen

i hope this can shed some light. It was written by Dave spencer not me  This will instantly raise the question in many peoples mind “won’t it starve the bacteria colony?” No, not in my or anyone else’s opinion that use Zeolite, that I have read. The Zeolite provides a large...
