    tesco cat litter

    its not harmful at all, as long as its washed well before going into tank. giving it a good wash also removes the dusty parts of it which is a good thing. but once the smell has gone, your good to go.

    i've just washed a whole bag worth of thomas cat litter and yes its small greyish looking coloured, but i bought a 8litre bag and im so surprised at how much im left with after giving it a good wash. after soaking it for 4 hours, i then mixed it all up and continued to rinse it with my hands...

    that answer is good enough for me. so thats what im going to do, cat litter on top of eco-complete, and then plant some TNC plugs underneath, plant loads of either glosso or hemianthus, start dosing ferts and let the fun begin. cheers for the reply Alastair.
