    Algae Identification

    Looks like staghorn to me.

    Flexi Mini 16L Aquarium

You're not necessarily doing anything wrong. The Flex mini produces a hell of a lot of light for a 16L tank (excess light will cause algae). Don't reduce your ferts, if anything increase them. Sounds like your Co2 is on point according to your DC, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

My journal for dealing with BBA

I think you're probably right, if you did a blackout though, it might help you kill it off, won't treat the problem necessarily but it could get rid of some of the symptom.

My journal for dealing with BBA

    Have you performed a blackout?

identify algae and how to solve

I had an issue with this in my low tech tank, i did a couple of blackouts and it came back, then i did a third blackout, upgraded the filter to avoid dead spots and started dosing tropica specialised ferts one pump a day. Now it's gone, not a problem since.

Keeping a tank spotlessly clean of algae. Particularly Diatoms and BBA

Stronger flow and a clean up crew would be my suggestion. I use Otos, Amano shrimp and Ramshorns (which i find the most effective overall)
