Ive always stuck to lab grades ever since I started dosing EI. The agricultural grades often have impurities in them that much up other peoples mixes from time to time

Some of us add a little bit of acid to our micros to prevent mold from growing in it. Would it be ok to add some Excel/Easycarbo instead since glutaraldehyde is a disinfectant ? Im guessing it wouldnt affect the micros at all but would it help with the fungus ?

Nope, Purigen will not have any effect on the ferts that we use. So go ahead and use it and enjoy the extra clarity it gives the water !!
