Nice to know about common toad is, that they eat a lot of slugs, including the dreaded Iberian one (=killer-snail in Denmark) that can really destroy your garden. It is considered a blessing to have a toad recide in your strawberry flower-bed (I have several in mine:D).

Yep - I've got it....... and several other annoying allergies, too. I can't even handle the stuff in frozen form, wearing gloves - it still makes my eyes itch and go red and my throat is severely disturbed, making breathing difficult. It is a shame, since I breed angelfish - and blood worm...

Be EXTREEMELY carefull about how to clean this. All the ones, I've had have quite soon been scratched. Even the slightest scratch will for some reason be visually highlighted by reflections from ligjt....... - I have not been able to find a material, that will effectively clean the acrylic on...

Some famous paintings, Van Gogh I think, has allready been done as "back wall's", too, using different small-leafed plants and mosses......

I would keep the "pool" clean, actually - maybe some gravel and/or sand, combined with some nice, rounded rocks. This will be easy to maintain and look good at all times. If green algae apoear, this will be like in natural habitat, actually. Maybe a few floating plants. Remember; very, very few...

I've worked as a gardener for a zoo, some years back. We often used Scindapsus (pothos) in connection with turtles. Never seen problems to the turtles. Philodendron radicans will work too, if you want leaves not mottled. Both these plants tolerate very broad spectre of environments. - and not to...

Exchanged a filter-bucket just before bed-time, by just connecting the hoses to another (used) one, turning it on without thinking of emptying it...............that ended the lives of 8 big Altum Angels!:drowning:
