How do i take a good full tank shot?

I have spent an evening researching if I can put a 70w metal halide daylight bulb into the same r7 fixture but came to the conclusion it might just blow up.

How do i take a good full tank shot?

Hi, Just bringing this thread back as i've been practising my photography a bit. I stuck a 400w halogen lamp over the tank to give extra light and it worked a treat but i'm having issues with the colour balance. Obviously the bulb is more in the yellow end of the spectrum but I aimed to...

How do i take a good full tank shot?

Cheers, It's one of those, "I was meant to be breaking this tank down 9 months ago" set ups :). I was growing the stems out for a friend but have kept some and have been playing around with bulking them out and pruning. About to give them another adjustment right now. As ever with this corner...

How do i take a good full tank shot?

Excellent, ill pop that on now and see what I can do. The biggest issue we are having with the camera so far is actually having the time to process all the shots we have taken. 2500 odd taken in the space on 6 months!

How do i take a good full tank shot?

canon starter dslr 1100d really impressed with it so far. The only lenses we have currently are the 18-55mm that came with it and I picked up a Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II a couple of months ago which is loads of fun. Once i'm back working again I'll start looking at investing in better lenses.

    DSLR or Bridge?

i've just spent the last couple of months playing the ebay canon game. I wanted around 10mp with liveview (the lcd screen at the back showing what the photo is going to be like) so was looking at stuff past the 450d but ended up trying for a 40d at around £320 - 330 without lens, £440 with...

Advice for taking tank shots with my Fujifilm s5600?

Hi, I've been getting ok"ish" results using a standard setting on my Fujifilm s5600. I am currently getting the best results through the curved front of my corner tank with the "natural" preset/macro/no flash. Any advice on how i could get the best out of the camera? Thanks, John
