I Sorry, I never really did any measurements, but on an estimate, I would say...the tank was 30cm high, the LED was 10-15cms from the surface, so on the safe side I'd say about 45cms.

The distance was about 10-15 cm and it was on 100% for 8 hours.

Just popping my head back in...I love this aquascape. Very very well executed, the perfect nature aquarium in my eyes.

Hi guys, thank you for your comments. Aron is correct, this was Christmas moss. Well, it was a mix of java and Christmas. It was attached with green cotton. @Brian Murphy I only chose this as it has the clear silicone. The rest have the black silicone.

Looking forward to this one mate, just remember, this needs a 23hour photoperiod, with half bubble per second of c02. I would go with 8 150w halides as well, probs about 1 cm from the surface.

To be fair, I can't see these triangles you speak of Thomas. I can see the one triangle, which makes the scape pleasing to the eye.

There seems to be a noticeably better flow with the spraybar. It seems better that when I saw it.

Hey Lee, the tank is a ehiem vivaline 126. However, it is possible to pimp a juwel tank, but the bracing needs removing on the juwel, and it's not easy to do.

Nice crypts, Tom. I love the look of mature crypts in a scape....my fave!

Hey Gary, why no journal? I hope it's nothing we've done... I for one love what you've achieved in a corner tank, you did a better job that I could've dreamed of! These trigon journals are gold dust on the net, with yours being one,if not the best.

No problem Justin, they were easy to keep. I had them in ro water, however I know someone that keeps them in Lincolnshire water, which it really hard, with no problems, and they breed regularly. They can be expensive as an initial outlay though.

Hey mate, this was finally stocked with Rummy noses, black corries and a few pearl danios.

Nice pics mate, that Monte Carlo, is a rampant weed! It took a couple of weeks a little dormant in my tank, but them went wild.

Looks great Al! Hope,it serves you well. The moss is (here we go again, always on about 1-2 grow), 1-2 grow weeping moss. It took really well in my tank. It also got mixed with a bit of HC...which adds to the look IMO.

Love it mate, top set up. That wood would look great with some emmersed moss on it!

Update time... I have done a couple of things of late. I have added another small filter on the left side of the tank. Now that the tank is grown in the co2 just wasn't pushing round the back left. This resulted in a bit of crypt melt. Which has now resolved. Just a small hydor rated at...

By the looks of things, I have only grown it in my high tech tank. It's doing ok, there was minor melt when I chucked it in, but doing ok now.

That's the name Paulo has given it, it's a strange plant, it creeps the same as normal HC, just about 5 times the size of it. Looks nice though!

Hi stu, thank you, and yes the flow bounces off of the front an carrys round the tank. The filter is overpowered for a tank this size, and the tank isn't very high, so flow remains good. Ehiem test there pumps with media in, so it won't be that short of its rated flow rate. Thank you! Thank...

Hi Charlie, the filter is fine on a tank this size, I also used it on the 125 ltr. I probs wouldn't go any higher litreage with this filter. As for performance, you cannot fault ehiem in any way IMO. Runs silently, maintainence is easy and build quality is great. They are easier to maintain that...
