I used it a while ago, I didn't see if it made a difference or not really. I did start a thread on it here a while ago. I'll try and find it.
I found this one...

It's a trace fert, that's about it. Trace elements are trace elements at the end of the day. IMO, they are pretty much of a muchness.
If his lighting is low and he's not using c02 then there's no real need for the n and p.
Using the soils give you so much more leeway when it comes to fert dosing. All you need to do is have a look at amanos fert régime. He uses next to nothing, as does Mark and his tanks are the healthiest I have seen.
the thing is clive is that you drop the rocks in the water, you don't feed them to the dog lol.
as you say, this is just another way to help us spend our monies.
ps while we are on subject...apparently Tomato ketchup works for lawn staining.
i often wee on the grass when my wife isn't in...i don't burn the grass.
there is some new revolutionary feed and weed on the market now, that will utilise the ammonia produced by dog wee.
have a read of this Clive, this is what i used

as said the idea is there...
same here Ady...theres a product called 'Dog Rocks' which apparently turns your dog wee into a nitrate, which makes your grass green (doesn't work, tried it!). I reckon Clives got it round his neck a bit a urine will kill grass, not make it grow. Tis the acid that burns.
Pond dechlor is the next best thing.
The new Aquavitro range is going to be purely LFS sales only, they are really strict about it apparently.
In essence it's a good idea, that way we can carry on supporting local businesses.

I thought you'd be struggling to find root tabs that contain n and p.
Is it OK to top back up using water from the shower (fed by combi boiler) in order to get a reasonable top up temperature ?
I used a mixer tap (i use RO now), i never got the temp spot on, but you'll get to know what temp the water needs to be. I tended to go with water a little cooler. The...
Personally i tend to do daily 30-50% every day for the first 2-3 weeks (but that is fully planted, from the begining). As the plants go through the transitional stages, you may run into the initial algal stages. Keeping up with water changes elemintaes the small ammonia spike that can cause...
Brilliant advice...in the time i have kept planted tanks, i have found the most important thing is water changes for the first few weeks. If you maintain good tank husbandry you can be on a winner every time.
I have just had an hour whilst the little one was asleep and read the whole thing. What a great read, and it is very interesting to see the results in peoples tanks. I have seen people referring to 'Toby's ferts'. Now i know! lol.
So Flyfisherman, it says that 10 ml per 500 liters increases NO3 concentration by 2.0 ppm. My tank is 190 litres, how much ppm am i looking at?
sorry to be a pain.
Ferro, Fosfo & Nitro. I have just bought some from Green Machine, i normally use TPN plus, but wanted to have a go with these products. I was just wondering how much and when to dose these spercific products?
