    George's One-Pot Iwagumi Challenge

My goodness George. That's even less plantmass than cheapskate me tries to start with :) Good luck with it. I always get green rocks when planting so little. I don't learn though and keep doing it :) Have to agree on the Tropica pots. Amazing amount in them.

"Dutch something or the other" 120 Gal

First time I've seen this Tom and whilst the plants are very 'structurally' arranged I find it absolutely stunning. Ver visually appelaing to the eye and the range of colour 'banks' against each other provides superb contrast from one to the next and so on. Lovely setup.

A New Adventure (a jungle mess)

Instructions :) The picture did the job. Already finished my plans and MDF ordered :) Little different to yours but was just the top bar that I was looking at above the door :) Yours looks really cool mate.

A New Adventure (a jungle mess)

Tank looks great mate. Re-designing my cabinets so was looking at yours for tips. lol. Keep an eye on those Corys. Being line bred they tend to be less hardy. If you see any 'grey' patches on them especially around the face then you need to get on top of it quick or they end up with massive...

[IWAGUMI] Project Scree - New plants and lights

Took several hours with several breaks but I've just read all the way through this. Really inspiring scape and journal. I can envisage that with my new scape no matter how much I try to make it look different the influence of this one resonate through. Without the genius' artistic eye of...

[IWAGUMI] Scree Evolution - The End

I think the total consumption is 30W. so the power to the actual output will be less. I'm just roughly translating the 21.5V to 1W per V which is a very bad crude figure :) Maybe I'm reading the info incorrectly there. lol. If it were 30W that would make it an even worse statement of...

[IWAGUMI] Scree Evolution - The End

I'm in the planning stage of a new scape. Over the past couple of months have veered towards a minimalist rock only hardscape and tonight thought I'd spend a n hour (or 5) googling scaping pictures to see if I could find any inspiration or ideas. Up comes a picture, instantly like it, the...

[IWAGUMI] Scree Evolution - The End

Re: [IWAGUMI] Scree Evolution Are they not meaning that the pink light should make the plant appear more red due to the different light rather than a change in the plant itself? A bit like 'Tom Barr's Red plant paint'. lol AC

    "Prairie Lands"... job done

Re: "Prairie Lands"... partial full tank shot. That stray rasbora doesn't look like a Hengeli to me. Looks like an Espei. Like mine :) Hengeli have far less orange on them. Much more like a glolight: Looking good though matey. I'll have to give the pushbike a run out sometimes :) now...

[IWAGUMI] Project Scree - New plants and lights

    saintly's "Autumn Blush"

Looks great Mark. Very jungly or at least busy. Water looks superb. Reminds me I need to clean my filter. lol Just a quick message to Sam: Why buy 22mm copper pipe and spray it when you can buy stainless steel pipe from any DIY store for a reasonable price? That's my plan when I redesign...

My First Planted Tank (The End) Juwel Rio 125

Re: My First Planted Tank - Juwel Rio 125 It can get very frustrating when dealing with such a high plantmass. Everything gets so much harder to get right. Circulation and therefore CO2/nutrient can become a nightmare so I understand why you got to this point Paulo. However I can foresee an...

My First Planted Tank (The End) Juwel Rio 125

Re: My First Planted Tank - Juwel Rio 125 LD - Cheers for the reply. What is the total flow in your tank then? The Koralia Nano is 1000lph from what I read on the retailer's sites. Is this true? AC

Re: My First Planted Tank - Juwel Rio 125 LD I have been reading this through. Far too long. lol. I've looked and looked through all the early tank photos but you were and still are too good at growing plants. I am trying to see in the older pictures where you say you have the 2224...

My First Planted Tank (The End) Juwel Rio 125

Re: My First Planted Tank - Juwel Rio 125 For a first attempt it looks superb. Good to se a Zenkeri Green as so many people are obsessed by the red ones and ignore the green which IMO is much more striking. Keep up the good work. Andy
