Aeschynomene fluitans....because this is a floating raft, if you have high flow it might need to tethered or it will be pushed to one end of the aquarium!
I don't think Alex did this though!
Dare say Alex has enough light to floodlight Wembley Stadium.
So the floaters help on the diffusion front!
I think those floaters are tethered by string so they will not be stationary...which helps produce a dapple effect!
Which helps shift the lighting rays about so less algae problems!
Lovely...
Nice Tom
Great stuff love the emersed concept too....wish I had your patience and tenacity!
Maybe when I retire!
Kessils are looking good....great lights!

Hi Tom
The tall spikey plant to the left?
I would remove and replace with something else, it seems to overpower the rest of the scape when grown in!
Lovely tank as always!

Ludwigia George looks like.
LUDWIGIA SP.' PALUSTRIS' Red....see photo in Plant Pictures.
How do you keep the leaves that break the surface from drying out? mine get too dry.
Which results in dry wrinkled leaf edges.

Clean and Crisp  to Mark
Excellent work....regarding HC..seem to recall someone having better success growing it at lower temperatures.
You don't use a heater so could be one of the keys...to healthy HC.
