    Inside those bubble counters is just a spring and a rubber diaphragm....allowing Co2 through as you turn/increase the needle valve! I would take it apart....and look to see if its fitted properly!

    Immerse the check valve in a bowl of water and run the Co2! Try do this with all the connections! Even the bubble counter if its not attached to the regulator......you could try using two check valves....one before the diffuser and one next too the regulator!

    Hi I would dose the Nirtogen! If these are recently purchased emersed stem plants...sometimes you can get melt or leaf drop in a immature set-up! Remove the stems cut away the melting parts and leave them floating on the surface for a few weeks.
