I always just put my glassware in a large container and pour a generous amount of bleach from aldi directly onto glassware and add hot/boiling water and leave to soak for 30 mims then rince in tap water in sink and add cap full of prime and give a quick jiggle and always been fine[emoji846]...
Yeah the silicone must be very strong like glue to hold together, the aquascapers only sit on a frame and outer pannels are not supported at all just bottom but obviously works [emoji849] [emoji6] .

Thats exactly what I did on my last tanks sprayed fairy liquid and water (just a small amount of fairy in spray bottle and rest water) on to back of tank and peel the film off then use a credic card and start from middle and push to edges until all air bubbles gone [emoji16]
Best of luck mate...
Id go for frosted film can buy from ebay etc very easy and cheap and easy to apply with soapy water.
I have previously had black and frosted, frosted looks better IMO.
Looking forward to tank no 2 [emoji16]

Thanks jay i will have a look on amazon for cheap pumps.
I will also go inline rather than intank for the 900 as you say be much easier for me, and the aquascaper is just a easier option as i wont have to build cabinet and paint it etc plus my wife likes the concrete grey colour as matches out...
Thanks for that alto i currently have the twinstar e is the sa a lot more powerful and have good colour for red stems etc ?

Decided defently the AS900 in concrete grey with twinstar 900 SA ( is this a good light for reds aswel) with biomaster 600 thermo.

Totally agree i was going to do that and i know thats my only concern the 5cm doesnt sound much but may look a lot.

Thats for that mate does the mat go directly ontop of the frame then then tank ?

How do you chrck hardness of water as i am sure mune is very hard do i need a tds meter ?
Thanks dean
Sent from my SM-G970F using Tapatalk
Tbh the reactor didnt really looked scaled just not throwing many bubbles out at all within the space of a week or so as at first it was throwing out loads.
I am going to take out soon and put in cup of water with some prime.
Thanks dean
