Push the pipes ON first so towards the filter to get the suction loose then twist and pull off. I always do this and works great 👍

Getting gloss on today, i must say mdf was much easier to work with, the ply has lines in were top layer came off and doesnt look as smooth and also mdf easier to sand. I was hoping the gloss would make it looks smother but hopefully looks better after few coats. 2nd coat on still some...

I used mdf last time for 60cm but just on building a 45cm and people seem to be using ply more now and its stronger i would say but mdf easier to work with for sanding etc but ply stronger. Dean Sent from my SM-G970F using Tapatalk

Just read this and already trying things, still unsure it's really hard to work with stones I got this so far I love tanks with open space on one side and tall stems at the back I am happy-ish with the left but not the right also used plastic tubes to pack out instead of gravel in tights...

Put the plastic levelers under tank because its in tiles in kitchen and not very level you think will ok as stand isn't totally flat on floor and resting on spacers should be fine shouldn't it ? Also just sanded edges of door so fits and re painting didn't relise how good the expensive brushes...

well got 3rd coat of varnish on :D finally, didn't sand in-between or anything but happy enough with the finish, not gloss but nice and slightly shiny and put water on a bit before and just lay there lol my kitchen floor isn't straight and level is there anything I can use to level the stand out...
