Very Nice, Zig... The best scape so far, IMO...

A lot more rock in the scape IMO... The last sketched drawing looks most effective IMO (with a little bit of tweeking, however)... I think those thin pieces of slate, if stacked up as they were shown in the pic, could create a fairly unique Aquascape...

Haven't really thought about it... Just hoping to come across something, I guess... :wink: Or I could buy a larger piece and just saw bits off...

Looks very good... Lots of potential... The Moss balls just look like cruched lava rock; Probably benefits the moss (in terms of anchorage) a lot more than slate does...

HI, Setting up my Nano (again) and wanted your comments/opinions on hardscape so far... This is the rockwork I've come up with and I'm pretty pleased with it... Aquasoil will cover the background and branch-like pieces of wood (redmoore, probably) will also be positioned at the back...

Well... It definately has the potential to look a lot worse than that of what Oliver Knott has created.

The impact that a substrate heater has on plant growth is fairly minimal... Lots of Aquascapers get amazing results without using this piece of equipment and therefore, people just don't think it's needed.

I've found Living Seas (http://www.thelivingseas.co.uk/index.asp?function=DISPLAYCAT&catid=270) to be one of the cheapest places around for T5 compacts... Depends what you're looking for, but generally, Living Seas are pretty reasonable on prices...
