If you are going to run out soon and have no plans to replace it i would start to wean them off of CO2 now and slowly start to reduce your injection rate over a few weeks, reducing the light at the same time. I only run my Twinstar at 60% with high CO2 injection and have had it as low as 50%...
I used one of these on mine, works really well just mounted on the back of the cabinet and you can just twist it in its clips to adjust the angle. You can adjust the colour and intensity using the remote control. :thumbup...
I agree 150w is asking for trouble unless you have it very high above the tank, if this is a new setup then the best advice is to keep the amount and duration of the light to a minimum until everything is in balance.
Unless the ambient light is very strong and direct i wouldn't worry about it, if this is a new setup then 10hrs is probably far too long, keep it down to 6 hours until things are settled and more estabished, oh and forget about having a 2 hour of lights off in the middle of you photoperiod it...
It will depend on how high you have the light above the tank but in my opinion 4x36w will be far to much while establishing a new tank, remove or switch 2 of the tubes off at first and save yourself a lot of headaches
I'm also awaiting delivery of a 4X24w 80cm from these guys, does anybody know what size the tubes are in a 80cm, i'm guessing 60cm but i don't want to put a lamspecs order in until i'm sure :)
Just come across this light, what do you all think? :D
