Having the red roseafolia on the back left may draw your eye out of the scape, maybe swap it with the bacopa C and have the path leading the eye through the wood and onto the roseafolia, the red bacopa would also create a nice colour change from front to back, it would then...

As Dan said Co2 or Excel/Carbo woud be a great start and make sure you are removing any signs of decay from the tank on sight. Feed your plants well and do plenty of water changes and you...

Just an idea...
If you fix a small mirror tile at the back of the gap against the rear glass and train some plants around it to hide the edges and create a bit of a green tunnel you would extend the view right through the back of the tank! and it's easy to remove...

your 1550lph external filter, is it on full turnover or do you have it turned down a bit?
I'm currently using a tetratec 1200 and i was worried it was turning the tank over to fast (x4), what do you guys recommend for tank tunover?
