Rios are fine for externals as they have cut outs at the back for pipes. These are not in the best location for lily pipes though.
Have you already bought/got the tank?
Hopefully someone can provide measurements on their lily pipes.
Ah, mains conditioners and expensive HDMI. I went to the Bristol Show one year where Russ Andrews was doing a demo. He did a demo with a 2K mains conditioner and I could hear zero difference.
The hi-fi industry (like many others I'm sure) also seems to be affected by the matrix. [emoji4]
Someone raised this question on PFK and as I am still brushing up on chemistry I did not reply but I am glad Darrell had answered as that's the conclusion (of sorts) I came to.
I've bought stuff from that seller before and it's been alright. If I was looking for an external I would be tempted to take a punt on it. Not saying you should mind you.
I have a 900. Mine vibrated and I used to think it was the impeller section but it was actually where the cable was in contact with the tank that was causing the noise.
Once I had this in the right position it was fine.
