Thanks, the lotus keeps me busy indeed. I have to keep removing leaves to half its height once per week to prevent them from hitting the surface. With regard to the java ferns they seem to grow quick quickly. In my previous tanks growth was slow but sure. I have to trim leaves once per week with...
These are a few pictures showing the stages of my tank. After moving house I decided to treat fish and myself to a larger tank. Jewel Rio 240. I also thought I'd be artistic and call the aqua-scape "Amazon, the Evolution" The Photos show a week after setup to present i.e. a year and a half down...
Tank: Jewel Rio 240 (Upgraded from Fluval Duo Deep 180 ltrs two veeks ago).

Hi Mark,

If you are after D-D Gullwing reflectors then visit the D-D distributor and email them the size you require. This is their site http://www.theaquariumsolution.com/ I was after some and found on a thread in this forum to email Neil from the mentioned site. Did this and had my gullwings withing...
New UP CO2 Inline Diffuser 16mm - the verdict

Hi farCanal,
Excelent for the level of light. Was just thinking if you want more light in the future you can replace your exsisting T8 with a T6. They are 40% brighter and directly interchangeable. I've done mine and never looked back :D
Thanks London Dragon, I agree with you there. The aquascape is my first attemp since the tank setup and looking at it now it does seem to be too close to the front glass. When I redo the tank next week I intend to rectify that. I've had a look at the briliant galleries on this site't forum and...
Hi Andy,
If I were you I would take this opportunity to upgrade the bulbs to T6s They are 40% brighter thatn T8s and directly interchangeable. I used T8s before and changed them with T6s from www.aquaessentials.co.uk Have never looked back. Also for the fist time I'm able to grown lawn...
