    I think I did something really stupid....

    i was once advised not to use hot water from the tap when doing wc. I normally fill a bucket with water then letting it come to room temp either overnight or over a few hours before WC. I've not had many issues with that but would any one know why the hot water tap is not recommended?

    how about get the soil damp, get a car battery with some jump lead and 2 metal rods, dig the rods at at opposite ends of the tank then attach the leads to the battery then onto the rods, the worms will then come to the surface, i've seen this being done but not sure the method is correct
