Hi Antipofish. Have you checked for CO2 Leaks? If your plants where growing well for a while and now are sudenly deteriorating then maybe the gas is escaping somewhere. Than at lights on the damage is being done each day... Just a thought. Before switching to EI, I had really good growth...

Price has gone up though... £29 for the 14l and £39 for the bigger one...

Hi, Not sure what it is but I had it in my tank when it was new... It was on anything rubbery, CO2 tubing, Suckers, Filter inlet etc. I tried cleaning it but it just broke off and foamy bits made a mess of the water. In time it just went away... Jack

Hi, Planted a 14l nano yesterday and all was well, but today the water is cloudy... I've seen on other posts that some people carry out a daily waterchange on their nanos. Is this what I need to do or is it best to leave it alone.... Cheers, Jack

Sorry Antipofish, I was going to but got cought up with planted my new nano! HC was a good size, same as a tropica pot I'd say, got loads out of it. Micranthemoides was good too, smaller pot but had at least 50-60 stems in! and the stems (ambulia and Staurogyne) are what they are! (5s, 25s)...

Love that wood! cant wait to see it planted...

Definatley in my local shops the planted section is very very small if there at all... I have 3 MA shops close and I still get stuff online because they just don't stock it. :( Also it's great to see tanks planted up but thay are scarce too. I would love to see a thread of UK Flora and Fauna...

Hi, I have had this problem in the past and read that although people often think the light isn't reaching the lower leaves it is the lack of CO2 reaching the bottom that is the problem. I had lots of leaves falling off and eventually stems rotting and plants breaking off. Switched to a spray...

thanks Andy, There are no repeat procedure instructions. It literally says: Measure the correct dose. Frequency of treatment: Use on days 1,2,3,4 & 5. that's it. I think I will pop to my local shop and see what they say, just to be sure. Maybe I'll use one of the treatments that you have...

I think I contacted the guy when I first saw it and it was fossilised wood. I have seen it in a few tanks (more recently competition tanks at aquatics live) and it allways looks great. Never seen it in the shops though.
