hi,i have used a bazooka diffuser and the bubbles are quite small and I found it worked very well at 1.5bar. all the best roy.

I have just been on my water supplier website and the hardness is285mg/l .I add magnesium sulphate to my el mix,am I just adding to the water hardness?.

I just reduced the pressure to just under 2 bar and that seems to have done the trick,i will look around for another solenoid as the atomiser works better at a higher pressure

hi, my solenoid is letting gas through when it is closed, it is letting by 20 bubbles a min approx. the regulator is a jbl on a fe with the pressure set at 2.3bar as im running an inline atomiser, any pointers will be appreciated. roy:)

hello, the valve I ordered is no good, just have to crack it open a tiny amount and I can blow through it, looks like I will be using my old valve for a while longer.:( roy.

I had amanos and angels together for about 18months and have had no problems.the amanos would sometimes stand their ground if food was involved and spook the angels. roy.

hi ihave 2 efx300 filter running in my 175ltr tank.one is 3years old, the other is new.i have noticed a considerable difference in the flows from both filters.does a filter lose power with age and is it as simple as replacing the impeller to rectify this.many thanks roy.:)

hello here are the tank specs. tank 70 litre. with diy top. 2x24watt t5 lights fluval 206 and 990 litre ph power head substrate is a mix of akadama and columbo flora base. hardscape is mini landscape rock stuck together with tank sealant and redmoor root wood. flora. cryptocoryne balansae...

the crypts have done very well in there,the substrate is a mix of akadama and brown flora base,(quite a good colour match)the plant colours have been a lot better than my other setup which has eco complete in it.i use liquid carbon every day and 2ml of neutro + week all the best ,roy.

thanks dorian and mark,i used the floating plants to reduce the lighting, i have 2x 24watt t5s in it and without co2 injection the light was a bit strong.that said the bolivian rams and five banded barbs love the dark areas. all the best roy.

hello. I made a lid for my tank out of acrylic sheet. I used a router to do all the cutting,it does a fantastic job.if you have one I would definitely use it all the best ,Mr P.

hi. thanks for your feedback.the light unit with 4 bulbs does have switching between 2 or 4 bulb.i know the lights will be abit largerthan the tank ,that does not bother me.i do have a lot of fish in the tank and I don't know how much more co2 I could put in,the drop checker is bright green...
