Help needed, I am planning on using an up co2 inline diffuser on my eheim 2213. At 30quid from ae I thought it a good deal but I am unsure from reading a few reviews whether the flow rate will be strong enough for the device to work effectively, can anyone offer advice from experience? Thanks

maybe try a small stone/large gravel and place it on the roots/base of the plant. within a few days the plants should root and you could move the stone so the plant will grow in the upright fashion. I know its alot of grief, but may solve the problem.

I like your thought processes in developing your tank. the blend of different textures is very natural. i find with alot of tanks that there is no integration between the plants but this is growing in nicely. lovely apisto aswell. how is he fairing without any caves? Matt

I attempted to do an EI tank a while ago but have been out of the country for over a year and the fertilizers havent been touched. I am planning on starting another one soon and wondered if they will be out of date, if ever? thanks

Re: Algae and java moss won't grow have you considered growing the moss outside of the tank in a pot on the windowsill. i know some people have had some very good results, doubling in size with the common mosses. it may be worth doing that if the plan is a moss wall at the end.

Im thinking of adding some hygrophila pinnatifida as a background filler plant. my planned tank will be 3wpg, aquasoil and EI dosing and pressurised CO2, ive read some positive and negative reports on this plant. has anyone had any experience of this one in a similar setup?

multies are tanganyikan cichlids so prefer harder water. thier natural habitat doesnt have hardly any forms of vegetation but i have seen tanks with anubias and ferns surviving. As a word of warning though they will rescape your tank for you. Im prity sure george farmer did a multies aquascape...

have you looked up multies? they are small, fairly hardy and prity readily available. best of luck.
