hi guys i ws just wondering what gives a better exchange of co2 because i have a jbl spiral diffuser and i also have a glass diffuser , but the only thing is i can decide which one to use? if anyone has any ideas i would be very grateful :)

that is a very nice little tank the wood is a really nice shape and because of the open top makes it look even better. what mosses are in there ?

im using red sea substrate at the moment with the jbl manado on top only problem with the jbl is that doesnt matter how much you wash it there is still dust everywhere :(

I know ,thats what i was looking for something in that range .Did get two tropicals though because as im running 2 T5's and 2 T8's ill just get 2 daylight T8's to balance it out.

i like to use excel aswell but brown must be bad , only ever had a clear liquid though so dont know what could have gone wrong with it :S

Sounds good ,how are you going about the co2 (liquid or gas)? as regards to the co2 (gas) you want to make sure that there is a supply ready for the plants when the lights come on so therefore you want to put the co2 on about an hour or 2 before the lights come on and then turn it of about 1-2...

there is a place on ebay called iquatics which sell some good reflectors , they also sell the metal so that you can replace that bit instead of the whole thing when it gets scrached. i want to get some dd reflectors though as they are gullwing design and will be more effective than the normal...

i prefer to use live food like brine shrimp , easy to grow yourself which also saves alot of money :)

you could always use thoses adjustable valves on each side then whichever one is getting ,more co2 close the valve a little meaning the pressure will be forced over to the other side.

yer i belive its all good , just need to add a de-chlorant . otherwise your poision the fish and end up with a big mess :(

Re: Overdue Re-scape will look quite nice when fully grown , have you got reflectors on the t8 , and the carpeting plants may struggle a bit without the use of t5 but still looks nice, how long has it been running ?

thats really nice and has a great sense of depth with the angle of the substrate rise , will fill out nicely aswell . More pictures to come ? hope so because i want to make a tank like this :)

thanks that was really helpfull , much prefer to use the moss as it doesnt all float away , or my shrimp stand there of 20 mins after i put it in and deside to pull it all out of the netting ive just covered it in :(

i already have a 2kg co2 bottle , but i only have a jbl reg and everyone seems to but a cheaper reg to run these on , is there any chance it will destroy my reg???

if anyone lives near lightwater there is a guy who does refills for adams gas , cheap aswell :)
