    Replacement Fluval Flora Bulb

That's what I thought, but it seems to have some kind of extra plastic fittings so that it screws into the bulb holder, like in the picture here.

    Replacement Fluval Flora Bulb

I've got a Fluval Flora with the Fluval PCL11 Lamp. I caught the bulb flickering earlier and it's now packed up good and proper. Just been searching the web for a replacement bulb and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I'd be able to find one? All help greatly...

    Shrimp suicide - sad day

I had a similar issue when I first got my tank, after it had cycled I placed in some Amano Shrimps, woke up the next day and looked for them in the tank and couldn't find them anywhere! It seems as I hadn't put the lid on (I wasn't aware they would/could jump ship) they had jumped over night :(...

    Algae Issue - Help Identifying

Since this post I've given the Filter a good clean through and reduced any of the badly infected leaves. One question I've got, is it ok to up the dose of my AE Design Aqua Carbon slightly to help remove/keep on top of it? Is it going to do any harm to my Rummy's/Otto/RCS/Amano's? Thanks.

    Algae Issue - Help Identifying

Ahh brilliant. Thanks for the help. It is an internal filter. I do regular water changes, but admit, I haven't cleaned the filter for maybe 1-2 months.. last night I removed all the infected leaves. I'll give the filter a clean out when I do the next water change as I'll clean it in the...

    Algae Issue - Help Identifying

Hi Guys, I seem to be having a slight issue with Algae. I'm not sure what type it is, so I've enclosed a picture and also given the details of my tank below: Tank specifications - 30l. Lighting - Unsure which 'T', standard lighting with the Fluval Flora (8hr Photoperiod) CO2 - Pressurized CO2...

    recommendations for a nano tank?

I run a Fluval Flora 30L Nano and can't fault it. It's great apart from the CO2 kit that comes with it as standard. I found it really hard to regulate the CO2 as it doesn't have a needle valve for fine adjustment. Although saying that, its an ok CO2 kit to get you going... Sent from my HTC...

    Dead Rummy Nose Tetra

Cool, I'll keep it with just the 5 for the moment and see how they fare before adding any new ones.. Haha, yeah, I can see where this is leading... I've already considered a second tank too.. Upon looking in my tank this morning, it seems I lost a Cherry Shrimp too, as well as the...

    Dead Rummy Nose Tetra

I've taken a look at the remaining 5 this morning and they all seem happy, hopefully they are still happy when I get home this evening... Is it possible to replace the dead one? Obviously not straight away in case there is an infection or similar, but is it ok to place a single replacement fish...

    Dead Rummy Nose Tetra

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yeah' I've heard they can be abit delicate. I normally try to get the water temp similar to the water in the tank, which is kept at around 26c. I'm keeping an eye on the rest of the tank, and the Rummy's seem normal at the moment. Is there any special type of anti...

    Dead Rummy Nose Tetra

Hello, Left for work this morning, and all 6 of my Rummy Nose Tetra looked alive and well. I got home from work this evening to notice one was upside down and floating on a leaf in my tank. It looked pretty dead, so I gave it a poke and it just started to sink to the bottom of the tank, I've...

    Breeding Cherry Shrimp

Ah, that's cool, I'd like a few more Cherry's. Do they breed often? I guess it's quite a short breeding cycle too!

    Breeding Cherry Shrimp

Ahhh, that explains it then :) Hopefully my Rummy Nose won't get peckish... I don't really have any caves, or any moss.. Although my tank is planted heavily and has some wood/pebbles so there are a few hiding places. How many babies should I expect to see? (Assuming they don't get munched by...

    Breeding Cherry Shrimp

Hello, I'm slightly new to this shrimp business but a little while ago (3-4 weeks) I bought 5 Cherry Shrimp, in the last week I noticed that some had been missing from 'daily view', so I just guessed they were hiding... I also noticed an exoskeleton from a cherry in my tank a few days after...

    Which Test Kit?

I'm looking for a new test kit for my water and wondered which type was the best/most accurate/value for money. I've seen a few different types, mainly dip style test kits and liquid test kits. Is there any advantages/disadvantages to either type and does anyone have any reccomendations on a...

    Is this CO2 setup ok?

Thought I'd update this now I have a resolution. I bought a new CO2 kit :-) Much better than before, much more control now I have a needle valve too. Also, no 'surge' when the solenoid turns on! Thanks for all the help.

    Is this CO2 setup ok?

Not at the moment with the current equipment I'm using :( I'm looking to buy a different solenoid which has the regulator and a needle valve etc for better adjustment. I've come to the conclusion the Fluval Mini kit is really hard to adjust as it has no 'fine tune'

    Is this CO2 setup ok?

Mine is connected by pipe. The order goes: 1) Regulator 2) Solenoid 3) Bubble Counter & non return valve 4) Diffuser With pipe between all those parts.

    Is this CO2 setup ok?

It 'rushed' so much today it blew the pipe off of the Diffuser :O I'm currently upgrading to some more substantial air pipe as I type though which should solve the issue (hopefully).

    Is this CO2 setup ok?

Ahh, awesome, thanks Sam, that's exactly what I wanted to hear :) Still puzzled with the rush myself, I'll see if it does it again tomorrow..

    Is this CO2 setup ok?

I've got a Fluval Flora tank setup which came with the Fluval mini CO2 system which runs the 20g bottles. I just wanted some advice on the setup I'm using with the system :) I've changed the diffuser to this one - http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/ae-desi ... p-646.html Added a Bubble Counter...
