Anything could trigger flowering I doubt it has much to do with fertilizer levels, It could be Bad water conditions, good water conditions, large water changes, Being emerged during a water change.... Just be happy its flowering and enjoy it!

I have no problems with LB grows like a weed. I have my lighting at moderate levels and high doses of co2 and nutrients. Have loads of stuff Going spare, and I've just given it a second trim so will see if it develops any yellowing.

Hmm ladybirds are great but they fly off, you want to go and look for Hoverfly Larvae ~ they look like this and don't fly. When they go hard they are just pupating and will emerge as a hoverfly (they look like bee's but don't sting) Amazing Flys.
