Depends what for really. Im not an expert on it so i'll leave it for someone else to confirm, but personally i wouldnt worry too much about it. Maybe if it was 80ppm or thereabouts. Just do regular water changes, maybe twice a week, 30% or so.

I think the problem here lies that when you increase the temp of the water CO2 is less soluble in the water as well, so this in turn effects the rate at which photosynthesis occurs as well as the levels of O2 in water.

Lovely set up. This gives me some inspiration for a 12" /8"/8" that i have just got, and proves you don't need to get pressurized co2 as well.

If you paid by paypal log a dispute and they will chase it up for you and give you your money back. Also if the seller isnt replying to messages make sure you leave negative feedback, or at least threaten to and see if that gets them to communicate with you.

Yeah i totally agree with this. I would be gutted if i broke a £100+ ADA lily pipe trying to fit it onto the co2 line.

they are quite a bit cheaper on auction sites fish fodder. I was looking at one too, but when you weight up the costs, £60 initial outlay, maybe a couple of bottles or more every 6 months, that is taking you to the £100 mark. you might be better doing what i am doing and getting a FE co2 unit...

have you checked the pH of the water coming from your tap? mine changes quite a bit. What ere the ammonia levels like?

I only have to does a small amount for a nano tank and i use a syringe to measure the amount i need from the bottle then suck up tank water into the syringe until it is full and then empty it in the tank. Obviously this wont work too well if you dose amounts too large for a syringe measure.

i've been searching ebay for filters and co2 regs, haven't checked out aquarist class yet. My only fear is tha with a FE co2 system i would be trying to run before i could walk, this being my first tank.
