Well I booked my Trip to Lisbon last night. And with Flights + Luggage + Transfers + Airport Pickup and Drop Off + A 3 Bed Apartment with Cleaning Service etc + Travel Cards + Activities Pass for the 4 Days. It Came to £1500 all in. Its Ridic how expensive the Uk is atm.

Yep that is a Gammarus, fish safe great for the CUC and fish will eat them if they can catch them. Have kept them with shrimp in the past, but can't remember if they competed with each other

That Gourami has been sick for a good while, should not have been sold in the 1st place. You can see that its body has already showing signs of wasting away. You can also see that is showing HITH aswell in one pic. The store will euthanise it straight away and should offer you something else.

That is coarse, looks about 25ppi so should be fine.

Is this the only flow control on the grey dial knob. If so turn that down so that the flow is slower. If not then look at a DIY baffle videos on YouTube. Looks to be a very good filter for thr price. Have saved it to try in the future.

What a great choice in puffer, a very personable fish with great curiosity. Expensive, but worth it in the long run. And they ate not prone to following fish and taken perfect little circular nips out of their finage.

have been getting pearling from the Hydro Trip and the moss which is nice to see. Hair algae has started to appear which is not an issue, Will swipe it out with a pipe cleaner.

Another vote for these, nice decent sized fish and very peaceful. Adult males look stunning once in breeding mode. And you have tiger lotus, which they would nest under.

Yeah I have done a UGF using Fluval Stratum in the past. And it was ok, used crochet netting as a mesh barrier from hobbycraft/range

just that they are terrible sellers and their reputation last time I had any dealings was Mud. if they have improved over the years then good for them, but honestly i would steer clear of them. I would advise you to look on BAND, there are plenty of reputable breeders on there with Wild Bettas.

Yeah water shock does not sound to be the problem. As big cold water changes creates spawning behaviour in corydoras species of all kinds. As in the wild when it rains and they get a huge change in temp rapidly.

Remember that female dwarf gouramies do look very fat when eggy. Best to keep giving some peas to help with a cleanse. If the male does not build a nest, put in some bubble wrap in a quiet corner. The male will recognise this as somewhere he can build a nest. And thus will trigger mating habits...
