I have some Taxiphyllum Flame. I started the tank around mid September, tying the moss to the top of the wood and it's done rather well. It's become quite the safe haven for my shrimp, I've found multiple molts inside. I was hoping it would spread downwards though. Will this happen in time...

My Rotala 'Vietnam H'ra' is getting a lil tall now. I've heard that when you cut the plant, it spouts 2 stems at the cut point so gives a bushier look. Roughly how low would you suggest cutting these plants? Also, can you plant the cut parts? Tanks under 2 months old.

My current PH meter has died, after just over a months use (came free with my TDS meter). Can anyone recommend a replacement, preferable something that comes with the power for calibrating. So many different 1's on Amazon with varying reviews.

Just a quick question, my diffuser and a few other pieces of glass equiptment are starting to get completely covered in algea. What's the best way to clean them? Scrubbing hasn't worked on the diffuser.

Little update. No real improvements, can't say I've seen a decrease in algea, but I think that's because I'm still not really turning up the CO2 much. I can't seem to turn my drop testers green without harming the fish :?
