Sounds like you may need glasses. I was struggling a couple of months ago and eventually got my eyes tested, it took me a few weeks to get used to waring them but needed them for reading. Free eye tests at Tesco and cheep glasses too. Helped me!

Don't let pearling after a water change lead you into a false sense of security. There's lots of Co2 in tapwater, my glass starts pearling after a w/c :!:

If it is a vallis whatever the variety, you need to bear in mind that it doesn't work well with any liquid carbon if you use it.

What are you dosing? If its ferts, then the night before should be fine, are you EI dosing or off the shelf? Macros and Micros EI style will be fine. I must admit, I've little experience with off the shelf ferts (TPN, TPN+, etc...) If you mean liquid carbon then this is good for 24 hours and...

My last 2kg FE lasted 9 months (almost to the day) on a 60ltr set-up at a normal injection rate. You can do the maths! If you manage to get over two months out of it you should be pleased (or under injecting) in my experience. Good luck and keep us informed!

How long have you been maintaining this regime? Are you experiencing any problems? What substrate are you using? Have you considered a liquid carbon additive (Easy Carbo)?
