Sounds a bit like they might be ‘winding down’, but who knows… Or maybe the fact that eBay has a system for tracking deliveries within a certain timeframe wasn’t working out for him 😂

That was my thought process - I’m not in a huge rush. Though I’ve gotten no response at all this time around, which is worse than previous orders. If I had read this thread prior to this order I might not have gone ahead. But as I said I plan to hang on as I don’t want to pay double somewhere...

Does seem highly negligent. I don’t know if he has a full time job along side this gig, given that he only passes the orders to a factory, or if this is his full time job. Either way 15 mins of email responses a day would be a massive improvement for all.

Well it’s a shame. I don’t mind waiting another month but I hope I don’t end up having to go the reclaim / refund route. Everyone else wants pretty much double the money for the same spec tank.

Did they mention the progress of the aquarium? I mean if it’s made then maybe you could actually get what you want?

I had to do this with my bank on some motorcycle parts, had to wait 60 days for no response until refund. Of course it may vary but that was HSBC.

It’s definitely not cyano, it’s green spot algae type of thing. Impossible to remove without a razor, so impossible to remove from leaves.

My main concern is surface film. I always get this on my tanks and I don’t see that I can deal with it, without an overflow or skimmer type inlet on the filter.

They weren’t the perfect size but still fit into the slot on the diffuser. My diffuser was a bit of a mess so I ended up getting a new diffuser which came with a new suction cup. However these ones where useful in the interim and I’ll probably use them again once the new one gives up.

Does it reset if you unplug the mains plug? I need to move some things around…

I know it’s really annoying. I ordered from a place in the Netherlands called AZaqua I think. Also ordered the ADA rocks from there. The prices were completely outrageous to be honest, but that was my only option for these items.

+1 for custom sizes. Standard tanks never have the depth I like. I like Eheim thermofilters, but buy a higher flow than you think you need. For a 50l you need minimum 1000l flow rate on an Eheim. Look at Kessil lights, very nice. I have the A80 Tuna Sun for my low tech 54l.

Sorry to hear that. I had a similar experience with a pair of rams in a 60 litre and I see it a lot online. I've only seen them successful in far larger tanks for some reason. Such beautiful fish I refuse to get more because it's horrible when they don't last long.

Low light for sure, and make sure you plant heavy to start with. Shrimp and fish like catfish will help too.

Looks great and I have to say, it's ALL about METAL inlets and outlets. I can't stand the glass ones I have broken several and believe me I am very careful with them. Though I still think there could be a better attachment system than suctions cups IMO

Yeah, I'm trying not to do water changes though as I need the plants to adapt properly to increase their rubisco for low tech and get healthier. Do White Pearl Shrimp eat the fungus? Or Cithon Corona snails? Because I will be ordering both at some point in the near future.

I gave part of it a boil but couldn't fit most of it in the pot. It's looking a little clearer today, though still fairly cloudy. I didn't know that the wood could cloud the water? How?

By the way I did do a 100% water change with the rescape to get rid of all the tanins in the water, and obviously treated the water with Seachem prime.
