I am still on hold using co2 for now, I'd like to do it weekend when I can keep an eye on it. The co2 is low in the tank monitoring using drop checker.

I hope I'm doing this right but here are my main tanks, the first 2 were in bad condition when I first got to work on them, no working heaters and underfiltrated. I don't have the original pics but hopefully you can see an improvement
Hello. I've only been doing fishkeeping for just over a year. I moved in with someone who had 2 tanks and I took them over and started learning. I now have 5 tanks currently up and running and I seem to be quite a bit poorer for it.
It is really hard to get decent pictures of it but I would describe it as a reddish brown worm looking thing that does not move apart from with the current and is growing although slowly. It is organic in texture and only seems to be growing on the wood. I do tend to let algae grow on the wood...
Yes thank you I meant bps heh. Wow I'm feeling a bit over my head now but I have a fluvial fx4 and all pond solutions 2000ef filter with a UV sterilisor plumbed into the outlet of the fluvial. The outlet pipes are at oppasite sides of the tank for even flow. A have an aquasky lighting system...
Thank you for your reply, I'm not sure how to adjust the out going psi it just seems to be set that way. Could you explain what an in line diffuser is?
I have acquired a co2 kit for my pllanted tank which is approx 340litres UK. I have a co2 2kg carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and a co2 supermarket regulater with a solonoid. It's a doul gauge regulater showing the tank psi at around 800 and outlet psi 58 or so. It has a bubble counter attached...
