64L of rock, wood and plants

Maintenace weekend Before After I am still struggling with air in the Oase BM 250. I like the filter setup, but this issue is bothersome. Every 3-4 days the flow is totally restricted due to air.

64L of rock, wood and plants

It is possible that she laid eggs somewhere in the back under a piece of rock. My hatching method is failing right now. The first batches came out pretty well hatched, but lately I hardly get fry. Will be tinkering with that this weekend I hope. I added 2 blue dwarf gouramis as well for now...

During the day, the female Apistogramma is mostly in hiding. Only during feeding time she comes out, biting all who comes too close to her, to grab a piece of food and show off. This is how she looked when she was first introduced. And this is how she looks 10 days later. What a beauty.

Hi, can someone share the contact details of the Oase support team (email)? I have the same air trap issue on my Biomaster 250. Does anybody know exactly where the air is coming from? Interesting plant in the tank, Prospero. How did the transition from DSM to wet go with the utricularia graminifolia? I saw the rock scape of Green Aqua in Budapest where they used utricularia graminifolia for the 150 long tank they have there. They were struggling to keep the plants in the...

hallo Nice cabinet and materials to start with. Did you make the cabinet yourself? When hasrdscaping, keep in mind the golden ratio or rule of thirds. ADA 90P - "Low Roar"

I believe filter flow is more depending on the aquarium layout. Turnover is a simple result of that. The 10x turnover rule is more a saltwater thing where people want pristine water that passes the skimmer regularly and flow for decent aeration.

    d2's Planted Tank Adventurama

Wow, gorgeous scape, Dennis. Did you add any substrate? I think the height of the right slope will depend on the type of plants you intend to use for emerged growth. If you have time, check this video from Green Aqua where they hid the overflow with a slope for emerging plants (around 5:20)...
