    Hair grass tuning white... Help!

I suppose what I am saying is that those who have success without Co2 injection probably have good levels of Co2 getting to the hair grass.

    Hair grass tuning white... Help!

Unfortunately it is too easy to say some are successful with dhg without Co2. You always have it, flow will effect how much you have, how hard your water is will affect levels etc. Over simplified but you get the idea.

    5ft Blackwater Shallow Stream

Looks really good! I think outlet and inlet at opposite ends would help the river theme and water motion. Otherwise I think you will get circular flow at on end and no flow at the other.

    Critique my hardscape Valley #3

I like the second one, it is inline with the rule of thirds as the weight of the hardscape seems to have the bulk of it in the left 3rd.

    New Wabi

Hello mate, Thanks for your comments, I live in England so mosquito's are not a problem this time of the year. They are not usually a problem for me here all year around. The Fittonia came in the post with lots of other plants and was at the post office over night so It did dry out a bit.

    Tropica & Pets at Home

I have two near me, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket and both have Tropica plants. The tanks in both are cleaner than most aquatic shops in the area too. That said aquarium gardens is only an hour from me.

With regards to should you trim, I would say keep it if you like the look, if not trim it a bit.

    New Wabi

Possibly, Fittonia is working all right for me in a waterfall, but that probably mimics hydroponics and most things will grow in that. I suppose time will tell how the Fittonia does in stagnant water.

And another update, I am terrible at pics. I need some black sheets to stop the reflections :) There are loads more plants in there now. I have some Hygrophila Lancea in the submerged/emerged shelf so will see how that goes. And there is more Limnophila and Rotala in there now. I am currently...

I have to avoid too much of them also, the wife would kill me if I had poisonous frogs in the house. Of course I could have them if I wanted as I definitely wear the trousers in my house.... and I know this because my wife told me so.

Thank you very much dw1305 for the effort you put into your reply with excellent links.
