Plant heavy and trim low fill in the gaps with the (tops)cuttings a few times until the area is full also cutting slightly higher each time will help, this works for me but OCD don't help or does in this case, have to say I trim every 10 days or so or this happens Over the 10 days after...

Just an update to show how strange it all turned out. I have no clue what's in the land iwagumi. And a before and after of them together The tree is still in progress. The front sections main branch had some die back so it needs to fill in again.

Added some trident fern to bulk out the middle section of the triangle and a slight trim

I'm still trying to follow the guidelines of the Dutch style, I have orderd the last plants today and will have the final floor plan sorted and then i can work on teracing aspect a bit more. This is what it looks like now. Its all a learning process ;)

No mate it was in date( brand new) and was faulty from the start. So I was just unlucky and brought a dud, so the fe company says, anyway I still check the whole co2 system now and again including the bottle with a soapy water spray. ;)

Changed out the sand, I thought it was too yellow and grain size was not to my liking, this ones a more natural colour.

My view

With clear tube you know when to clean it. Its relatively cheap, if you let green grow inside your pipes you need to do more maintenance;) Out of sight out of mind approach will work to a point but no point in making things harder than they already are, why put another variable in the equation...

You can turn the lights off for a few days while you wait for the new seal, it wont do any harm, no light is better really as theres no photosynthesis :thumbup:

I think it's worth investing in the good quality co2 tube as mentioned above as you are dealing with higher pressures sometimes as well. Silicon air tube for air. Polyurethane co2 resistant tube for co2. Warm it up a bit with hot water.

Looks nice and neat. Clean If any body is bothered to much by the light spill they could get a strip of aluminium and fix it to the lip all the way around of the spots to direct the light down a bit more and stop light spill. Similar to stage lighting. Nice touch with the end caps.

I saw this but dont like the cable, i know its petty, that's just me though, my OCD wont let me have it, its 1 of G.Farmers I think and he put white tape on the cable and it did help. But yeah nice and neat frame you can buy for the tmc,s. I was a tradesman so its just a time thing for me...

The wood bridge scape of stu.w was the 1 I had in mind. Im new in the hobby in comparison to many on here but I think you will find a spot for the splash of colour your after in good time as your plant placement is good.

I do like the trident fern it will look good in this style tank. To be honest after doing mine I looked at a video of the AG shop scape and G.Farmer tank with the trident and it looks great.kind of wish I had used it, i will use it next time. :thumbup:

Mc mostly melted and made a mess so removed it. Moss balls are back in. New crpyt parva shot and the cherry barbs are now settled in nicely after the diet

The wall has a lot of great detail and is made really well. I think the main thing to look at is the wall has to diminish or change in height a bit more for agreater prospective.;)

I did look at the gardena meters before I brought the controllable DC pumps that work from 1 to 100%. So the idea became redundant. The marine side of things do some great bits kit too.

Nice size 60p well I like all ada tanks when there scaped well. Good thing about smaller tanks is you can change design with much less hassle. In saying that I've not change a complete scape yet. I'm sure your new 60p will go well mate ;)
