I have my filter and skimmer pushing water around e tank and I can see the movement through the co2 bubbles and microbubbles from the steriliser. If I can see the water is flowing around that should be good right? What benefit will additional flow provide if the water is already circulating...
Here's the scape not too long ago. Carpet might not look too bad from far away but theres a lot the hair algae and not much pearling. Just not as healthy as i want. For pictures of my nano check old posts on HypeBuce instagram, won't let me upload them here?

After growing HC Cuba(dwarf baby tears) SUPER successfully in a 25cm cube(pearling and no algae) I upgraded to a 60P setup but have never had success growing the HC Cuba. Images below of the nano. The specs were;
very high light from chihiros
Co2 injection
Inert sand
26C temperature
I have had...
Thanks for the help I'll look into that. It's as though they are full of air, they can swim down to the bottom and swim seeking but when they stop moving they float upwards.

Hey guys! I just bought back some Julii corys into my 60P and after a few hours a couple of them started floating? Still alive but they float up like a balloon when they stop swimming. Any ideas for causes and remedies?? Don't want to lose these guys!
I apologise if this is the wrong sub forum.
I have a spare system I can sell you? No full bottles but I've got the regulator, inline solenoid purchased off eBay, and the tropica diffuser.

I've only had success with HC with tonnes of light which I think is a result of my hard water. I'm worried if I reduce the brightness that the HC will die out. Thanks for the tip about increasing co2 during the day, I do have a betta in there but I'll keep a close eye on him. I'm using mature...
I've grown HC Cuba in my nano tank and it pearled almost all the time. I decided to scale up to a 60P HC Scape but the HC doesn't seem to pearl at all. Using Twinstar 600S 1000% intensity. The indicator isn't quite green so I've upped the co2. Anyone familiar with HC Under this light? Might have...
Haven't been on this thread for a while but I remember a while back somebody had to make a DIY shade because it was so bright. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it already but they have come out with these

Thing is that they aren't designed for mixed gasses as the cylinder itself is labelled as Co2. If you're saying no company would fill it with anything but the gas labelled my guess is that it must be Co2? I'll try find some other options anyway. Thanks everyone for help solving this...
Would here be any issues if I completely emptied the cylinder and then refilled it back with Co2 at an appropriate pressure?

Where do you source these? Seems extremely cheap! Ok me with the link if you could I'd really appreciate it. Cheers everybody![emoji4]

I'll try get some pictures of the cylinder. As you said, the pressure of mixed gasses is much higher, hopefully I can find the max pressure on the cylinder labelled somewhere and try determine if it's safe for a regulator. :)

Okay once I get a regulator I'll check to see if it'll fit onto the canister. Otherwise a paintball bottle might be my best choice!

The cylinders are simply labelled as Co2. I have done a little research online and mixed glasses for beer dispensing are normally Co2 and nitrogen. Nitrogen is extremely abundant in the air so I don't see much harm in adding nitrogen into the tank. Please correct me if I'm woeng though. Really...
So at my workplace there are a couple large "Co2 canisters" hanging around that are literally being used as doorstops. I asked if I could take one to use in my aquarium and it was agreed to! The cylinders are labelled as Co2 and are for beer dispensing however the owner recons it's probably a...
Sounds awfully similar to what im attempting to do! Except I'm saving up for a 60P. I too am 16 and into aquascaping[emoji16]. If you would like to see my tanks right now theyre over on my Instagram @HypeBuce. Can't wait to see how this all turns out for you !! May I ask what made you choose ADA...
Are you guys using any substrate? Or is it just in Water? I tried to grow UG in my aquarium but it kept dying. I tried twice and spent quite a bit of money towards trying to keep it. Before it all died I took some out and placed it with some gravel in a windowsill. I think it's starting to grow...
Just because I have it in my room doesn't mean I was sleeping with the light on [emoji23] I'm cautious about the sound because I'll be studying and watching movies and videos there in the Daytime. It would be both distracting and annoying for me to hear a fan.
I saw the green aqua comparison...
Also I wondered if anyone has any comparison between the RGB Vivid chihiros and the Twinstar 600S? I'm deciding between the two

Could you pm me or post it here a video of the fans running at max in a completely quiet room. I would have the light in my bedroom so I don't want to be able to hear it. I'd greatly appreciate it if you would :) Thanks!! Just take a few steps away and record then slowly get closer, that might...
Definitely some things i'd change. For one i used an inert substrate. Secondly my filter sucks and is basically broken but I can't push myself to buy another when this is still 'working' haha.
Sweet! A bit of moss, buce or anubias nana petite and other plants to go in the gaps will really help this tank look mature and natural. I hate my nano until all the gaps were fired and now I love it! It completely changes the Scape aesthetic [emoji3531][emoji3059]

I've never Aquascaped properly with wood but what I do know is that when the wood fits perfectly over a rock it looks incredible. It creates the impression that it actually grew over the rock making a much more natural Scape. See if any rock fit the bends of the wood -HypeBuce

I'm a 16 year old that's not new to the hobby but new to aquascaping! In the last year I've learnt so much and I'm finally saving up for a 60P Scape! Right now I'm trying to post enough to get access to the sale forum! In the meantime check out these photos, more over on Instagram @HypeBuce...
My major concern is the fan noise. I'm going to have a 60P in my room and you've seen the Scape I want in one of my earlier posts. That's why I'm deciding between the WRGB and VIVID Twinstar aren't as bright and get hot leading to a short lifetime and the brighter models are even more expensive...
looking for a 60X30X36 optiwhite tank ideally ADA. New, they're £130-140 so if somebody has a setup or spare tank they're willing to sell let me know :)
They're £200 I want to get one but I'm unsure on the fan noise. Does anyone have one that can send a video of the noise created? I don't want to hear it... Those of you that ha e the WRGB, Do you think it can reproduce these colours?
