I have a bright blue powerhead which sticks out like a saw thumb. Is there any paint that is aquarium safe, would ideally like to paint it black to match the backround. I cant really cover it in plants as the intake needs regular cleaning. Any ideas?

It was suggested to me by my lfs that I might want to start using ro water as then I would be starting off with pure water instead of trying to remove substances. The only sensitive inhabitants are the cherry shrimp. Think I should just go ahead and use tapwater?

Thanks for the replies chaps. Have tried some on driftwood and would not recommend it. The glue turns white if it doesnt dry properly before you resubmerge it. Looks ugly.

Using superglue to stick corals to rock fragments is common practise with marine aquarium keepers. Does anyone here use superglue for sicking plants to rocks or wood? Any opinions?
