I am worried in case ghe people looking after them do not recognise oxygen depletion and I lose all my fish.
If I were to reduce lights to 3 or 4 hours a day would it have a detrimental affect on plants or fish or just give them a rest?

I was hoping to stop the co2 entirely.
I am just not technically minded enough to be able to figure out the best way around it.

Going on holiday soon and would like people's opinions on a few things if poss.
I have a heavily stocked and planted 6ft tank with injected co2 and dose ferts weekly and daily.
I am not comfy leaving the co2 going whilst I am away even though we have a house sitter. I am considering switching...
I have a 6ft x 2ft high x 15 inch wide tropical tank.
I have co2 via a FE and bazooka diffuser.
4 x t8 4ft tubes.
My drop checker is green upon lights on at 2pm and lights off at 10 pm get a 1 or 1.2 ph drop between co2 starting 2 hours before lights and lights on.
I get pearling from amazon...
