    Off the shelf fertilisers

Hello, We're using tropica plant growth premium fert. So far so good. But I wondered if people had other preferences. I'm not ready to go with all the complicated stuff and I'm just happy to put something ready made in. Cheers

    E.vesuvius

Hi Sean, That's cool. No worties that your plants are young at the moment. If you get something to share let me know. We've not got much exciting but I'm sure we could work out a trade of some kind. I didn't mean to break any rules either, when I posted this. Didn't read all the rules... sorry...

    Superfish Home 60

Great looking tank George. It looks really smart. I'm impressed with the CO2 bubbles! I'm working on a setup for our 50 gallon tank, possibly using a fire extinguisher. What do you think? We've got a little tank with a "waterplant system" from ISTA, a cheapy not making bubbles... I don't think...

    Feedback Great plants,fast delivery

Hi Richie, I'm looking into buying the aquarium co2 kit, all the bits bundled together to be used with a co2 fire extinguisher. I wondered what you had bought and your opinion on quality. The whole kit is only £65 which is pretty cheap compared to others so would appreciate your thoughts...

    Raising low pH

Hi, We've got a 50 gallon well planted tank on the go at the moment. I'm hoping to add co2 to it soon but have an issue. The pH is about 6.5 and as I understand it will get even lower when I add co2. I don't want the pH too low as it'll upset the snails... Apart from plants there is a "clay"...

Hello Does anyone have any e.vesuvius available. I'm in Birmingham, uk and would happily come and collect if anyone is nearby. Of course getting it in the post is fine too :). I saw it in someones planted scape and I think it looks really interesting. We've just set up a new tank, alongside our...

    The Lovely World of Bucephalandra!

Thanks X3NiTH. Looks like its the same seller then. That's good to know. I'm going to brave it and buy just one. I'm sure the addiction will soon kick in! He he. I really want Dark Achillies but it's very pricey. Guess I should start with a cheaper one in case I kill it...

    Opaque leaves

Lol, yes transparent. It's an Interpet bright white three strip. Certainly is bright! I will investigate reducing the brightnes. CO2 is the next addition for the tank. Just a case of saving up... Popped Some ferts in last night when I saw the problem. Will see what happens... Hopefully it'll...

    The Lovely World of Bucephalandra!

There is a seller on eBay with some species. I think the seller name is planters-place. I saw he had one and sent a message to see if he had other varieties. Not especially cheap but he had quite a good list. I don't know where he gets them from or if they're any good. I'm still trying to decide...

    Opaque leaves

Hi, Pretty new to planted tanks and completely new to the site. I've been reading lots of your forums and things and it's great. Anyhoo. I have a pretty basic planted tank. I thinks it's about 50 gallons, no co2, LED lighting, some fish, one snail. The plants have been growing pretty well but...
