    Oase BioMaster Thermo External Filter

They are pretty good. We're testing them for a few months now. Really up to the eheim pro 3 or 4 level. But time will tell the truth. Still good to see someone step up to challenge the largest brand with a different approach.

    ada spring washer

They are pretty good for any glass pipe. And last long. We have many others but those are only good for hose cleaning. We had to do many glass pipe fixing when client broke their glass coz brushes are not flexi enough or they are too hard on the head part.

    Up Inline diffuser

Cheers Ross, It is not that important where you place your diffuser if that is a good one. The diffusers are in a different league than cheap ones. I usually say that the pricing equal with a good external reactor and it is almost the same efficiency.

    Up Inline diffuser

Yup this is interesting. Their ceramics are very good. With fine bubbles you have less waste. Also they fill up the tanks many times to the edge of the glass, where lilys are not moving the surface that much. Superjets have less turnover than we use with our avg canisters. So it all adds up to a...

    Up Inline diffuser

Ada never used low co2 on their tanks. Those who say that, never seen their tanks in flesh. Actually when i was there i recognized how much more they are using than we do. The answer was that, they push it til the fish gasp. Dc not needed continously only on initial stage. For an expert may nod...

    Cant clean up green water

Not much use after that. But some ran it for 24 hrs like we do in cases. Would be useful if shops could let it rent for cure. We dif this in the past in our country but we stopped as the uv tube damaged with the heavy logistic. Still it was a good idea then.

    Cant clean up green water

Also not sure about the natural or ambient light if that changed, but may need to be decreased. +1 on uv with the correct flow! Ran it for 2-3 days then a water change would do the work.

    Aquamedic AM1000

We do use mesh in some of our AM1000. Runs super silent. But then depend on the mesh strength after a few months the flow can push the mesh into the outflow and the reactor will stuck. Flexi-M Mini LED

We have it in a low tech. Sometimes with CO2 but mainly not. This is a mid light. May would compare to a 13W compact light by eye. We do use it with a plug only for years. Sold tons of them. But of course if TGM recommend a different thing to the local use it is ok. This is just like a laptop adapter. You also do not need a transformer for them to use on any network. I do use these lights since they come to the market...

Is this hobby losing the plot?

I do not want to go offtopic here, but i rarely use pH computers. Sometimes this is helpful, but since active soils, soft water, spec bio mediums etc you will face with more problems than success. I do use a profilux machine on some of our tanks, On fresh start i surely sees that pH probe is...

ADA Aquasky - Am I Asking For Trouble?

Flexi and Aquasky is two different stories. Both sleek and sexy but flexi is a low light. Also the light spread is very limited. AS is poweful. But if you have co2 i would go that way. Less limits, nicer plants. Their color spectrum is also different.

AquaSky 601 or Other for ADA 60P

602 works also in single mode as stripes can work independently, but it is only for experts like jordi mentioned. 601 is enough for most and increasing the light period from 7-8 to 10 you still can push it even more. Or go with aquasky moon if that's available and that's between the two.
