They are pretty good for any glass pipe. And last long. We have many others but those are only good for hose cleaning. We had to do many glass pipe fixing when client broke their glass coz brushes are not flexi enough or they are too hard on the head part.

Cheers Ross, It is not that important where you place your diffuser if that is a good one. The diffusers are in a different league than cheap ones. I usually say that the pricing equal with a good external reactor and it is almost the same efficiency.

Not much use after that. But some ran it for 24 hrs like we do in cases. Would be useful if shops could let it rent for cure. We dif this in the past in our country but we stopped as the uv tube damaged with the heavy logistic. Still it was a good idea then.

Also not sure about the natural or ambient light if that changed, but may need to be decreased. +1 on uv with the correct flow! Ran it for 2-3 days then a water change would do the work.

On fishes axelrodia risei or sp blue. Both are smaller and brave fishes. Looks awe when they are in groups. On microrasboras go for Merah. Others may look too thin especially for a final shot. Lovely colors, nice gardening mate! :)

For old superjet, vuppa, solar mini that transformer needed, but led uses a different one which works on all systems.

You only need a plug. (travel kit or laptop plug). No need a converter.

Flexi and Aquasky is two different stories. Both sleek and sexy but flexi is a low light. Also the light spread is very limited. AS is poweful. But if you have co2 i would go that way. Less limits, nicer plants. Their color spectrum is also different.

The Murdannia Keisak looks fab with Ludwigia Palustris. I never had this combo, but look like their leaf size and shape works well together. Murdannia is heavily neglected by the hobby unfortunately. Wonderful plant with a unique look. I love it! Great shot Stu! :thumbup:

602 works also in single mode as stripes can work independently, but it is only for experts like jordi mentioned. 601 is enough for most and increasing the light period from 7-8 to 10 you still can push it even more. Or go with aquasky moon if that's available and that's between the two.

If you have the buget and you have space in your cabinet Eheim 1200XL is a great fit. Massive bio load and plenty extra flow even if your tank is heavily planted.

We do use soft water - ro in all of our tanks. Heavy light plenty co2 daily fertilizers and water temp around 21-24 celsius. Everything thrive. Only ug hates us ;) or the soils. Since in sand and lower light goes better. I cant report a general bonsai failure and we sell quit a lot.

Now from keyboard, much more convenient. :) On the test issue about Tropica process. There are probably not so much nursery who has dedicated international pro team which test their plants and give useful feedback before plant goes out to the market/mass production. And before even any plant...

This is a mid light only. However CO2 is a useful addon to any of your plants so i would not remove it

Actually both nr2 and nr1 got the same point on total from 6 judges. But nr 1 had 4 1st place and 2nd had ony 2. ;)

I guess the upper visual sketch only demonstrate how the final look will hide the huge columns which exist in the tank. That is a copy paste demo from earlier scape only for demo purposes. Would be impossible to create a real visual of the future look. I look forward to that. :)

Except that we cool down the room to 20-21 celsius 24hrs a day :) The air conditioner does a great job sucking out this high humidity then. We need to cool the room heavily to keep all tanks under 24 celsius. Including shrimp tanks too.

The soil is very high on the back. Around 30cm or so. All plants were planted underwater and we let them grow out of the water. High soil is kept in place with lava stones and pond textile.

Nope they already acclimatized to the room condition. No need extra care. However we have around 60-80% humidity in our showroom. If we forget to empty the dehumidifier we easily open next day to 80% :) So maybe this plays a little role there.

Wow congrat! For this layout it will work nicely! The leaf size is too large i think compare to the other plants and your aquarium size. The mosses the foreground is really nice and the stem background also fits in nicely without distorting the ratios. Maybe Micranthemum Monte Carlo? Same...

We're using this way to avoid clogging. The new diffusers catch more bubbles which stops the operation in a short time. But using this way we almost eliminated the cleaning process. So no cleaning needed in our soft water environment. This extend the lifetime a little on the diffuser plate.
