Just curious as to how many folk have? I've a trigon 190 and an Ada 45 and have 3 cylinders that I rotate.

I find the c02 helps keep the already under control so always seems to me best to keep it full on for what the price of a refill is anyway.

I'm no expert but you may lose your forest feel, but you could always remove them if you don't like them.

Thanks, you have confirmed what I thought really about the stock lighting. My new small tank with strong lighting is doing the same, carpeting plants growing great, not the case in the trigon, but ove found they grow well floated.

Looking good, you must be glad it settling down. I have a Chihiros led also, I'm currently on level 4 and don't foresee going higher as the plants grow really well. Nice healthy growth but not crazy fast suits me.

Day 8 Things have been going smoothly, to smoothly lol. Plants seem to be growing well, nice and green with no yellowing or melting at all. Next to zero algea, only a diatoms dusting on the large rock. The Jbl diffuser has bedded in now and seems to produce bubbles that don't break the surface...

If you equate my 45 tank to your 128l your round about double my bubble rate, not massively excessive is it? What I do notice with this diffuser is bubbles seem to rest just under the surface, never seen the like with in tank diffuser.

I just counted my bubble count on my 45p and it's 12 bubbles over 10 seconds. What are you at over 10 seconds? I'm assuming your count wasn't over a minute

Hi Nigel, I've recently started using this instead of a bazooka, it definitely takes a few days to settle and my bubble count is a bit higher. I was a bit unsure initlly but it's a good product. Be sure to up your bubbles slow if your tank is stocked because mine went from blue/green to yellow...

A lot of effort in there, nice job!

The plants appear to be doing ok, no melt but no very noticeable growth I don't think. Since installing the inline diffuser it's taking I'd say double the bubble rate to achieve similar C02 results to the bazzoka. If appearance is not so much an issue the bazooka seems to be better at the task.

3 Day update. Plants look ok, think I'm seeing some growth but certainly no algae or melt....yet. lol. Really like the look of the equipment. Ive managed to hide it all in my wife's funny table where the top comes off. Also added a Jbl inline atomizer and upped the light to level 4 of 7.

Thanks for the advice, It will definitely be a rock scape only. I've had wood in all my previous tank. I imagine it will be quite minimalistic but we'll need to wait and see what the rocks are like. I wouldn't mind moving a few plants but I don't want to be moving rocks :P
